With over 15 year’s of experience, a desire to educate anyone who reads this blog about the pizza industry has arisen. In that time I have learned a thing or two about this business, not from any college or trade school, but from careful observation and hard work.
Through out my career, in the restaurant field, I have seen the world of business and marketing stray from where it all began. The saying “the customer is always right” seems to have been tossed out the window these days without much thought. It used to be, people looked out for one another, and I believe this is no longer the case.
For some time, the focus in the food service industry, as well as most other industries, has shifted from providing the best possible product at the most reasonable price to providing a lower quality product for as much as they can get. It’s time someone did something about this.
What I plan to share with you are common tricks and tactics used by clever business owners and explain why I think they are not so good for the consumer. In addition I will also share some suggestions for growing a business without sacrificing that little thing called Integrity.
